Default 5 Volt from PCM

I need a 5 volt source to power my VSS (Viper T56) and would like to see if I can get the PCM to power it on. Anyone know which Pin I might be able to use ?

Wouldn't any 5V from a 3 wire sensor work? Like TPS or MAP?

On a 2000 PCM, Red connector,
Pin 20 (Lt Grn/BLK) = VSS Reference Low.
Pin 21 (PPL/WHT) = VSS Signal.

Any use?

isn't low ref ussually ground? I needed a 5V for my vats bypass module. i used on of the unused gray wires, most of those seem to have +5 volts. Don't recall the exact pin number I used though.

Thanks.. and sorry.. I should have stated I have a 99 PCM..and trying to get some VSS output to drive a Speedo.

The Viper VSS sensor generates a different signal and is not compatiable with the GM Signal. My other option is to try and machine some sleeve or adpater to use the GM VSS Sensor as the Viper VSS is larger in size.

I think the 99 and 00 PCM are the same ?? guys ?

I removed most of the unused pin/wire.. I will have to which one I can readd ?
