Default Some more pics of the Corvette filter/FPR

For future reference here are some pics of the Corvette filter/FPR (NAPA Part #3737) and the Dorman 800-120 and 800-121 the connectors for the inlet side of the filter. I couldn't find Dorman 800-155 which connects to the filter outlet.

I had no idea how compact the FPR was

Looks good. How much did you have to give for those handy pieces? I need to pick mine up but if I understand correctly different year engines have different fuel pressures. I haven't purchased my engine yet so I have to wait.

Hows your swap going?

The filter was around $50; each of the connectionr around $10. I am fairly certain that all LS1-2s use the same fuel pressure - 58 psi or 4 bar.

I assume you mean the filter was around $50, right?

Whoops - yes, $50. I edited the typos.

Thanks. I might take you up on that. I still have to figure out exactly where I am going to put the filter.

here are some pictures using the Russell AN to GM fittings on the FPR inlet. I used the Dorman tube on the outlet, and a Swagelok union to connect it to a new 3/8 stainless line from Rick's.

Ok. It seems I have no clue what I'm talking about so set me straight. On this page.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....80&postcount=2

It states that some use 26lb injectors and some 28lb injectors. I had expected this meant they ran at a different fuel pressure. What's the 26 and 28 lb? If the pressure is the same and the injectors different then Does this mean that the pulse width suplied is different to get the same output volume (in other words the PCM's not interchangeable)? Oh my head hurts.

Good news is that if they are the same I can add these parts to my shopping list

Those references are to the lbs of gasoline per hour that the injectors flow - it is a measurement of their "size". You need to have the PCM programmed to match the injectors that you are using.

I am surprised that the AC Delco was never put in the thread in the first place.. as they are the ones that GM worked with build the GF822 in the first place for the 99+ Corvette. All other cross reference should have been based on the AC GF822...
