Default lt1 to ls1, k-member?

How is everybody today?!?!
I bought a used LS1 off a buddy of mine and i plan to put it into my 96 T/A basically because, well, the LS1 just seems to be better all around. I keep hearing that I need a k-member out of an LS1 car because the mount locations are different. Does anybody know if there is a way to adapt the LT1 k-member to accept the LS1 or do I have to just go and but a new k? Also, has anybody done this swap before or know of any resources that has pictures, do's, don'ts, etc?
I also understand that the bellhousing and input shaft on the tranny (m6) is different. Is this true, and any preferred places to buy them?

Thanks,
Wayne

i'd guess you could use conversion engine mounts to bolt it in since the lt1 uses normal small block mounts, but i'm guessing you'll run into accessory or oil pan problems if you don't get the ls1 K
