The F-body windage tray part number is:

12558253

The one listed at the beginning is missing a digit.

The GTO LS2 pan that I have has a sticker with 12581209; the same number that was listed for the 5.7 ...the sticker could be wrong since it has 12581209 in the casting.

The Hummer H3 pickup tube comes with the oil pump O-ring from GM. I would assume all there pickup tubes come with one.

Default pan with no dipstick

I picked up the conversion kit from BRP for my 06 LS2 going into my 68 Firebird. I was about to change the pan today and I noticed the new pan has no provision for a dipstick. P/N on the pan is 12614827 ( I am not sure on the last number it is not really clear on the pan) Does any one know what I need to do? Do I need a different pan?

Thanks Al

Al,

Look on the passenger side of the block. Should be a hole there for the dipstick.

Does the Milidon pan require a remote filter? Wonder if it'll hang below an A body frame?

This might be a challenge because of the variations in mounts and peoples tolerance for fitment. For example, there have been various pans used in GM A-bodies. Some have used the CTSV pan, F-body pan, Corvette pan, various aftermarket pans. They all fit, but some pans hang down past the crossmember, other pans require more engine setback, etc...

Per gmpartsdepartment.com:

Part number 12561541 was superseded by part number 12581209.
