Almost finished now. I am waiting on my driveshaft and the shifter cup which should both be in town tomorrow afternoon and then I should have everything I need to drive the car. I have all the bugs worked out of the starter wiring, got the fans hooked up and working, got the power steering hooked up, got a radiator overflow, got the exhaust finished, and got the intake tubing welded up. I will probably end up polishing the intake tubing since I practiced on some scrap I had left over and it turned out pretty damn good. The motor fires up and runs good with all of the gauges working now except for the speedo. I just haven't been able to check that because of the missing driveshaft. I hope to get it tuned within a few weeks and take it to the 1/8 mile around the middle of May. Here are a few pictures of the final product under the hood....

I ordered two sections of 4-inch 45 degree bent aluminum pipe from a place online for about 30-40 bucks shipped. I picked up a 90 degree coupler from the local truck place, cut to fit, and had it welded together. My TIG work with aluminum is not up to speed with my MIG work on steel...

Great build, I am in the planning stages of the same build and I was wondering about the MM K-member. I want to build a LSX/Notch that handles well and your's is exactly what I want! Dang, unbelievable, nice rig.
