Default v6 to v8

I have a 98' v6 Camaro. I found someone that will sell me a 97' Z28 for $600. (rear of car totaled) How hard will it be to swap the v6 with the v8. Do I need to buy anything else?

The 98 would have come with a LS1, the 97 Z28 would have a LT1. Try and find a LS1/T56/A4 if you can. LS1 > LT1

if it's only 600 bucks get it for sure

you'll have everything you'll need to swap if you get the whole car

DO IT MAN!
I want to do the same to my v6, but instead I'm forced to sell it to help fund my 383 build. I took money I had saved up for my build and bought it. Then work got slow, & now I'm forced to sell it. My whole plan was to do the conversion to learn how hard it would be. Then if it was easy enough, I was gonna start doing it for all my friends who drive v6's for a cheap price....Oh Well though. Good Luck
