Exclamation LS1 swap wont start up

Ok guys I have my camaro ready to kick over. When we try it all it does is rotate. It sounds like it isnt getting fuel or spark one but I may be way off. I checked the power wires to the injectors and to the coil packs and both are getting power. Fuel pump comes on when I turn the car over. Any ideas? Thanks in advance guys!!

I would recheck your power wires again and make sure they all have power when the key is in the crank position.

Everything is getting power. We checked the plugs and they are arching just fine. Checked the fuel rails and we have fuel pressure no problem. I have no idea here

If your sure the injectors are firing and you have spark it should at least try to start, not just turn over. At the end of the day if you have fuel, spark and air that's all you need to start. It may not want to run, but should at least sound like it is trying.

Is this a rebuilt engine firing for the first time? If so maybe cam installed wrong? I am just guessing here.

Ok I just pulled a plug and it is dry as can be. I am not getting fuel past the injectors. It is getting to the injectors just fine. Could this be the crank sensor?

What's your fuel pressure gauge read? I am leaning toward crank or cam sensor. I knew it had to at least try if you were getting fuel and spark.

Does anyone know how you test the crank position sensor to see if it is faulty?

Do you have a code scanner. If so it should give a code for the crank sensor if it's bad.

Double check your connections at the crank sensor. Maybe just loose or a pin pushed in and not making contact.

I installed a 2000 ls1 with engine harness into my 95. All the cab wiring is still there from the 95 and I spliced all the wires together to get it ready to fire up.

the ls1 uses a bcm to control theft deterrent
the lt1 uses a theft deterrent module

did you connect pin a3 of the theft deterrent module to c2 pin 30 of the pcm(fuel enable circuit)
