Default Chevelle throttle cable

What cable do i need to run for 71 chevelle with 99 LS1? Will the stock ls1 f-body cable work? Thanks

I used a lokar. Cut to fit very easy to install.

The Lokar is a nice piece, and not very expensive.

Lokar X4 like everyone else..
I just used an existing hole (it was square) that was in the firewall and inline with the pedal. I used a few larger washer on each side and bolted down the jam nut, ran the cable though the pedal eyelet.. then into the Lokar cable case and up to the Throttle Body and it was done.. (some cutting of the cable as needed) !

You can use the stock F-Body Cable as long as it reaches ok... I think others have used them.

What is the part number on the Lokar throttle cable? They have a universal one and a ls1 one? Which one did you guys use?

I used a ford torus cable and built a bracked for it to fit the intake. got the cable for free!

Ok.. I used Lokar on my 71' Chevelle and now on my 71' Nova.. It worked well on the Chevelle.. should work good on the Nova too !
