on a side note... my friend just did a heidts clip on a 62 Nova. He's on air bags but we raised the frame up on the firewall 1.5" to lower the front a little without affecting suspension. Have to cut the frame horns and lower them down the same amount.. worked out really well, he's driving it now.. anyway looks like a nice nova and cool buildup!

This thing is coming out great. You're doing a fantastic job. Sorry to hear you got hurt, but I'd bet there are a few guys here willing to lend you a hand if ya need.

Dang, I was hoping you found some off-the-shelf headers that were close. My Maverick's rails are 26" apart and the steering & motor mounts look to be close to where yours are. I just ordered a set of BBK #1569 351W fox-body swap headers with hopes they'll be close enough to do just flanges and possibly the #1 tube. Should be here Monday evening...

I STARTED PUTTING THE HEADERS TOGETHER. I GOT THE HEADERS FROM A 2000 Z28 AND CHOPPED THEM UP JUST A LIL. THE DRIVER SIDE, I ONLY HAD TO CUT ONE TUBE AND REROUTE IT, SO IT IS NOT TO CLOSE TO THE A ARM BUSHING. ALSO ON THE SAME SIDE THE COLLECTOR IS FACING KINDA OUT TO THE SIDE , SO I WILL REWORK SOME METAL AND HAVE IT POINTING TO THE BACK OF THE CAR. NO BIGGY THOUGHT. THE PASS SIDE A LIL MORE WORK, BUT THE #1 TUBE WAS BENT JUST RIGHT AND THAT'S THE ONLY ONE I DIDN'T HAVE TO CUT. I WILL HAVE SOME MORE PICTURES OF THE BUILD. IT WAS GETTING LATE, SO I CLOSED " LES'S CHOP SHOP " DOWN FOR THE NIGHT. I WANT TO GET THE HEADERS DONE AT LEAST BEFORE I GO UNDER THE KNIFE.
