Default 5.0 liter headers?

Someone told me these bolt up fine, any ideas on if they clear everything in a Chevelle?

I'm sure they're much cheaper than ls1 chevelle headers ($440 plus)

If its a 5.0 gm, it won't work. I'm doing a conversion now from a 5.0 to a 6.0 ls2. The cylinders are totally different. The 5.0 has the two center cylinders together and the ls versions are seperated. I bought a set of edelbrock shortys. They should work fine. I talked to Nelson Perf. and they are using the shorty on their 98 ls truck conversion. The shortys are $350 from Jegs. Thats the ceramic coated.

5.0 Ford headers have almost the same port spacing as a ls motor, People have been cutting the flanges off and doing some mild welding and tweaking to install the ls flange onto the 5.0 tubes. This has been a common practice for the ls1 rx7 fc install.
