Relay in the fuseblock. Call wire goes through one of the C10x connectors then to the fuseblock/relay center

I believe 27 and 28 are labeled backwards. The grey plug should be the MAP sensor and the black one should be the cam sensor.

Default CMP inline connector

I've been searching numerous threads with no luck. There is an inline CMP connector that sits by the #2 injector connector. It's between #33 & #34 connectors on the first post. I would like to eliminate it from my fabricated harness, but I don't know why it's there. Is it used for diagnostics? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Its a holdover from the LSx prototypes that used a timing cover mounted cam sensor. Delphi likely had the harness boards already set before GM changed their mind and the adapter harness moving it rearward was the most economical solution

FWIW, 01-02 cars didnt have that

You're flirting with disaster trimming out wires you dont know for sure on. Id be hitting up some schematics over a car forum for something like that, but then again I wouldnt be messing with a dash harness

LT1shoebox has plenty of good diagrams to get you started

beside the auto-lockout found on an auto harness, is there anything else different between an A4 harness and an M6 harness?

Are you asking the difference in the 4L60E internal harnesses?

Old thread but still really useful to lots of people. I just want to reiterate(sp?) that plug 27 and 28 are backwards. The black plug that has the longer leads is the cam sensor and the shorter gray plug is the MAP. If the original poster or mods could edit that it would be helpful. Other than that, great diagram.
