Not we never really considered rack and pinion actually.

You're welcome to come by, no problem there. Just give a call when you're going to head up!

What did you end up using for exhaust headers and where did you buy them?

We ended up using the BRP mid length headers and had to modify them to work since we couldn't return them.

What type of modifications or exactly what did you do to the headers to make them fit.

The are BRP mid-length headers. We had to modify the collectors so they didn't hit the frame.

Norm, talked to Ron Davis Radiators today and the part # is 11-16-IM. It's keeping the car nice and cool, plus the fans on this thing move a ton of air!

As far as ordering it just give Ron Davis a call, I spoke with Dennis there.

Trammic- They're BRP long tube headers.

LS1Fox- Those are stock 2007 LS2 Corvette items on our car still.

Thanks for the kind words everyone else! Trying to get the interior all finished here.

Love the radiator...should fit my 1960 impala with the LS1....

just curious, what was the price tag on that radiator? I was quoated about $1100 from Matson Radiator in Orange County. That included dual fans and and AC radaitor on the front at well.

The radiator and fan setup was in that same price range, but had no condensor for A/C

Some of the progress that's been going on.

Only a few things left to do!

Back from the dead... That is a stunning car. My wife and I are going to be putting an LQ4 in her '62 in the not so near future, so this thread is a huge help. Do you have any more recent pics of the car, and what mufflers did you end up going with? We were thinking of running something from either Corsa or Magnaflow. I love the sound of the Corsa on the 1st gen CTS-V.

Hello everyone,

Sorry for the long absence, I don't get on the forums much anymore.

The car is running two Magnaflow Mufflers that exit before the rear tire.

The PCM is mounted where the factory speaker used to be in the dash. When we got the harness we have them add about 2-2.5ft to it so we'd have flexibility.

I don't have any recent pictures, but can try to get some in the next week or two.

Thank you for your interest.

I gotta know. I can't find any pics on how anybody who has ran fuel lines and what they used or look like. You wouldn't have any pics?? I have a 62 and hope I get it where yours is at. Just the fuel set up is getting me ag! I'm running the vortec intake not the alas intake. To me it looks mean. Any suggestions?
