Default LS1 in a 93 silverado?

Has anyone ever done this? What is involved and how hard would it be. I understand its not gonna slide right in but would it be so much work to where it wouldnt be worth it?

I have a 5.3/T56 in a '92. Though not an actual LS1 the conversion is only slightly different.

Lots of info here.
