Default LS2 intake/TB options

I have an LS2 from a 2006 TBSS that I am going to use in a mid-engine application. Will need to rotate manifold. I want to replace the truck style manifold. What are my options for corvette/gto style intake/throttle body??? Only LS2 intake or can I use LS1/LS6?...If only LS2 manifold what size throttle body?...I want to use a fly-by wire TB...Thanks

The Gen3 LS1/6 engines use a 75mm 3-bolt TB. The automotive Gen4 use a 90-mm 4-bolt TB while the Gen4 trucks use an 85mm TB.

The most economical ans simple option would be to just use a regular automotive LS2 intake to which your truck TB will bolt up. The flow difference between the LS2 and more expensive LS6 intake is negligible even though it uses a smaller TB.

The only other alternative is to go with an aftermarket FAST intake or something similar $$$$$$.

GTO intake will work just fine. BUT......You'll need the throttle body that matches your ECMs operating system. I used the truck throttle body on a GTO intake. The difference is that the throttle plate opens in the opposite direction. Whatever TB you use needs to match the gas pedal and operating system of the ECM because the resistance values are different. So use either all truck pedal, ecm, TB or all GTO, Vette stuff.

Schramm auto parts usually has complete BRAND NEW GTO LS2 intake with injectors and fuel rail for like $250 on Ebay.

I recommend going with a LS2 manifold with a LS2 Corvette TB. The TB has a larger ID, plus it's throttle by wire.

The next step from there would be a FAST intake with the LS2 TB.

You could also get a carb intake and drill it to add fuel injectors.
