I would deff vote for the Porsche over the 240. Seems to me it would be a lot more unique not to mention it being a Porsche Although the 240 w/ V8 platform is nasty as well.

renegade hybrids makes ls swap kits for porsches. i thought about an ls1 in my 924s

Just not something I would ever want to do. Its quite unique since it is rare to see a Porsche with an american engine!

i sold my 01 ws6 and am getting into ls1 territory with my 81 911 widebody, the ls1 fully dressed ways 400 give or take less than the turbo motor , completely done and driven can be had around 8 grand compared to 9 grand for a stock turbo motor , 280 hp vs 325 you do the math , renegadehybrids.com has all the info

A guy that comes up to our shop bought an ls1 crate motor from us the other day and is planning on putting it in his porche! pretty crazy! although hes going the easier route and putting a carb on it. still very cool!
