Trying to stuff a 07 escalade L92 into my 69 camaro and want to keep VVT. Right now its going in stock (with maybe the exception of headers) and would like to know what everyone like me is doing. I called Wait4meperformance and they said they wouldn't do it and speertechs prices are way out of my budget at over 1600. I already have the harness and the complete engine so what are my options.

By the way, I might try to modify the harness myself if I had a book that details it and another book/site that details what are the sensors are for.

Try Current Performance Wiring, they are doing stuff for those engines, and can modify the harness you have if you want.

If you have the factory harness/computer, we can do a stand alone rework on it for a lot less than a whole new complete kit.

Not to hijack the thread, but what is it about the VVT function that makes doing the harness so much more expensive? I mean, I'm sure there are a few extra connectors, but what else?

I don't think there really is anything most folks just aren't working on them yet. Mast Motorsports uses their own ecm that dramatically increases torque and thats why they are expensive. The other folks basically charge the same for L92, LS3, LS7 etc.. Hope that helps.

Our currently available M-90 WBO2 Control Packages are more expensive because they have integrated Wideband O2 control. In about 6-8 weeks we will release our M-90 DBW Control Packages that are not wideband capable and, therefore, less expensive. These are going to retail for $1749.99 and market price should drive the cost down significantly lower than that. These packages will still have our M-90 ECM and integrated fuse block which includes sequential EFI, full fuel pump control, full electric fan control, wideband knock sensing, drive-by-wire, and variable valve timing (VVT) controls. The main difference between the two kits is the Wideband capability. This is going to make the VVT engine swap even more appealing.

Almost forgot...you can tune it too, but you won't need to because it already comes fully calibrated.
