Which wiring harness do I need?
I need a little help in my change of plans on my current project. I have a truck 6.0L LS motor I'm putting together for my '67 Camaro. I bought the GMPP 4 barrel intake. I've changed my mind a little there. I'm going to run the manifold with a Wilsons Manifolds elbow and my stock throttle body. to getting it running and change to a 90mm this winter. My question is, do I need the trucks engine wiring harness and ECU or do I need a Camaro LS1 engine wiring harness and ECU?

Here you go this is what i bought and it works great. they have other models if your not running a 4l60e trans.....http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...250507309&rd=1.... this is the cheapest place i found... but you do need a stock ecm, and the vats do need to be taken off the stock ecm.... but it is headache free..... good luck

You can make either one work. Do you already have sensors, injectors, coil packs, etc? If so, get the PCM and harness that match. In particular, you need a PCM that matches your crank reluctor (24 tooth versus 58 tooth). What model/year is your 6.0?

My 6.0L is from an '02 and I have everything(coils, sensors) except for the wiring harness. I also have the MSD 6LS for it. I'm running a TH350, and I'm going to add a Gear Vendors overdrive if the motor doesn't cost me a ton more to get running this way.

You could also contact www.jimsperformance.com He does great work. He can build you a custom harness. I think his price starts at $395. If you send him a harness and pcm he can get you rolling with a few wires to hook up, a DLC,fuse block, fuel pump relay, and work on the pcm for about $520.
