Default LS1 to LS2 Intake Swap

I have a 99 LS1 engine and have came accross an 05-07 Intake. Will this fit my engine? Is it worth the trouble to change? I know I will have to have a new TB.

well there's a writeup on here somewhere where a guy took an LS2 intake manifold, cut the lower section off, ported the hell out of it to help with the flow, and glued it back together. it took him a whole lot of time but he had comparable gains to the FAST 90. i don't know if it would be worth the trouble. i'd probably just hold off for a used FAST 90 myself.

Stock for stock a LS6 intake would make more HP.

As said above, I'd shop for a used FAST 90.
