Default 5.3L into 95 Firebird?

Alright I'm looking for some advice from you guys that have done this and other swaps. I got the 95 for $500 with a bad 3.4 in it, I started just looking for used 3.4's but they are around $500 and I would probably just sell the car and make some money. Or I could swap in a 5.3 and use it as a daily driver... Now I know I would the k member, radiator, fuel stuff, computer and tranny as right now it has a 5-speed in it. What I want to know is if you guys think I should swap it and keep it or put in a "newer" motor sell it and buy something else for a daily. The gas mileage should be okay and fine with me, I have a cammed LT1 for my fun car. I also read where you guys were saying you can get a 5.3 with tranny, harness and pcm's for 1500ish, where? I can't find them on ebay so any help there would be great. What would you say a total budget would be for the complete swap, with all used/junkyard parts, I figure 1500 for tranny/motor and 500 for rack, radiator and all that stuff

Thanks for the help,

Bill

Also I have done plenty of work on my other car and could handle this swap.

I have an LT1 for sale if you decide to go that route.
