Did your tuner turn off the VATS theft system?

Any DTCs? That sounds exactly like what I had when I didn't have VATS turned off.

Yes, computers can go bad. Usually all it takes is a good shock, or exposure (read: submersion) to alot of water. Sometimes they just crap out.

What does your tuner mean by "not sticking"? I'm sure if the tune wasn't saving, the software would let him know that it couldn't be flashed.

Yeah, I wondered about this statement too. It either flashed or it didn't. Make sure your tuner knows what he's doing. Either way, you definitely want the sticky software

Yea. I think it's time he went hunting for a new tuner. If VATS was in fact deleted, then it should run. I had VATS deleted off of mine, and it ran fine(except for the damn high idle I'm troubleshooting). If in fact his software isn't "sticking" then he wouldn't have VATS deleted, correct?

How much did that new PCM run you? You might have been able to find one here in the for sale section for cheaper.

I have a spare I'd let go cheap if you want to return the one you bought..
