13.88 with a 5.3L 4l60e, 3.73 GN posi, truck intake, f-body exhaust manifolds, 2.25 duals, x pipe, flowmasters, on 26" street tires. The motor didn`t have enough to pull the 29" slicks and slowed down. It was a dead reliable instant 13.88-14.2 car like that.

13.6x with the above parts and a 6.0L long block. Not quite sure why its so slow, I would have thought I should have been faster. Car runs dead consistent 13.8xx`s with the 6.0L and some 13.7`s, only a single 13.6 pass out of the 41 passes I put on that day..

I don`t understand why the 6.0L swap didn`t really help my times, both motors had just over 100k on them when I did the swap. I had enough fuel to feed the 6.0l. The exhaust may have had something to do with it. Had 3lbs backpressure with the 5.3L and now I have 6lbs with the 6.0L......New 2.5" exhaust on the way.....and a GM Hot Cam is on my floor waiting to go in. :D
