Headers are done and on. Trans is in the car and in the correct spot thanks to my modified t5 mount that raised it up the right amount. Driveshaft is in, radiator fits just fine just need one more hose. Got my intake put together and it should clear everything just fine. Got the steam line that comes out of the heads figured out, just got to get some hose so I can bypass the tb. Got a walbro 255 in tank pump and hanger as well as the corvette fuel filter/regulator so im down to the nitty gritty now. Its getting closer.

How do I get the ability to be able to post in the classified section? I have a few extra lsx parts that I wont be needing after all.

I have an extra 6.0 engine wiring harness, ls1 flexplate, some aje motor mounts for foxbody, and a few other things.

More pics sorry it took so long.
6.0 set in its final location

Drivers side header steering shaft clearence

Pass. side header installed.

Clearance between radiator and front of engine. Top hose is a modified 5.0 upper hose, need a 2.3 lower hose to get that finished.

Drivers side header to ground clearence. Pics on pavement would be better I know

Front oil pan ground clearence. I know I need to change pans but it should work to get it running and moving, just have to be carefull.

Pass. side header clearence to ground and floor. I need to heat it up and bring it down and out a little to get it away from floor and trans.

Anyways, I have the intake made to get it running, the alt bracket is modified. I got a walbro 255 pump, going to drop tank and do most of fuel system this weekend. Driveshaft is in, trans mount is modified. Just lacking a starter, alternator, trans fluid, some an line and trans cooler line, a shifter, and some other minor things. Its getting closer.

Ill get some up once I get an alternator. I have the belt I need. its a copy of a guys on here. Hes building the fairmont now but has/had a black turbo notch. Just running alternator,wp, and the tensioner. 69.5" belt. Hacked powersteering bottom part of bracket off and got it looking pretty good.

Is the 6.0 alternator location the same as the f-body LS1? If so mine took zero modification. Love your build, I'm doing something similar except I started with a 6-speed.

Im using a truck alt. bracket so the alternator will be up high, not low like the ls1 brackets. I got hood clearence even with the small 2.5" cowl hood. I got the truck intake to clear with the cover after a little modifications.

Should be done by end of next month. Once its running/driving the mods will start to happen. I have ls6 springs and want a cam that will work good with them. Not wanting to go too big because next year its getting turbo'd and things will change anyways.

Orange Notch, It sounds like you have it under control but If you buy the Camaro Alternator bracket and just space it out/tap the one hole. You can run the low mount alternator.

Ya, but I seen another guy run it this way. I wont have any clearance issues and it wont look too bad. I can get rid of the idler pulley the way im running it so I can switch to a car intake later on with no problems.

We'll see how it works out. Ill get pics up this weekend.

Whats a good cam to run with the ls6 springs or should I just stay with stock cam till I can get dual springs and tit. retainers? I already have the ls6 springs on the heads
