The info off this site has helped me in a number of ways. I wanted to share some pictures of my project truck and maybe give someone else info that would be useful to them.

cool truck....is that the original frame?

Truck was originally a long bed. It was shortened, but is a '49 frame. Frame is boxed to the firewall, FatMan MII in front, used whole Explorer set up in the rear.... 3.73 rear axle/springs/sway bar.

Nice. I've always been into old trucks. I got a 50 chevy SB (grandpa bought new), 41 chevy 1.5 ton dually, and my uncles working on his 38 street rod

Keep us updated!

The fuel tank is listed to fit a fuel injected Jeep Wrangler (late 80's). It has tank baffles for fuel injection and a late '80's GM pick-up/gasket/locking ring are a perfect fit. Bought it on e-bay for $79. This was an easy solution.

To me, the paint is really looking good....the fenders have not yet been color sanded.
