lol. I thought the sheet mtl. was going to be the easy part compared to the piping. Turns out I was wrong. The sheet metal was kicking my *** for a long time but it is just the begining of the sheetmetal work to be done on the rest of the car.

One driveshaft is one that I had made before I decided to go with a twin turbo set up the whole reason these cars eat carrier bearings is kind of a joke .the factory driveshaft has no way to slip with the suspension travel with out flexing the carrier bearing rubber out. both of these have a slip yolk in the rear taking care of the problem that every one of these cars from 58 to 64 had inland did make the new one this one is a 502 driveshaft kit I had them put a heavy wall 2.5" tube one it on the rear because of the travel one the air ride. turns out the shaft clears by 1/8 still close but this should take the power without breaking. the other on is going up for sale I paid 650$ for it will let it go for 400$ plus shipping for anyone looking for one.hope this helps.

What water pump are you using? Year and model? I like the thermostat housing you have. For some reason I couldn't get the link to work. I have the Street and Peformance housing($95) and wanted to swap out the 187 to a 160 degree. No such luck. S&P told me that the newer style housing wouldn't fit the older water pumps so I purchased the 03 and older style. I am curious if your housing would fit the older water pumps as I see you have the newer style thermostat.

On your log headers what size are the primary's and the main tube? is that 2" to 3" or 1.5" to 2"? I love the design and had been thinking of building something similar for quite a while.

the primary tubes are 1 3/4 the main is 2" don't make the same mistake that I did. DO NOT BY ALUMINIZED TUBE!! it welds like crap no matter how or what you weld it with. Also put a flex between the wastgate and down pipe for easier install and less swearing.

The car runs on its own power!!!!!!!! what a great feeling. to bad it is so short lived.first fire 1:00 am fri the car was running good my friend Carl Thomas of CJ. tunes helped get this thing up and running gave it a safe tune to start up.by the time I was headed home from car craft sat. the car was running very bad after checking everything that I could and baffled Carl calls me up and tells me to check the plug wires even though we wrapped them in insulation 5 out of 8 were fried this explains alot.lol. took the car out for a test drive about 1:30 am sun.car ran great drove to car craft show. life is good.mon. drove the car to work on the way home the car craps out on the freeway.after going back with some gas thinking that might have been the problem opened the cap and air rushed in bigtime.car started right up and ran great.life is good. DOn't worry there is more to this story just no more time for now.stay tuned for more turbo madness!
