Final bits of 1978 Jeep CJ7 LM7 swap Latest issues: blew a tire something rapidly draining the battery non smog legal cats Got a new used set of 31" BFG AT's and had them put on....now it lights up the tires easier, almost scary My buddy called and said he figured out what the battery drain was and fixed it. Traded my high flow cats for a set of stockers that should pass the smog nazi, cats should be in tomorrow or thursday and it will only take a few minutes to weld them up and bolt up the exhaust. Here are a few random pics.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...e/d8430aba.jpg exhaust routing is funky because we didn't have room to go inside the frame rails http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...e/0dd7121a.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...e/97e01879.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...e/8558c487.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...e/5900710b.jpg paint already burned off the headers...they'll probably get coated in a few weeks. not sure if I posted this vid....this was on old tires and running rich http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3rxziQZMII |
I drive my 98 Wrangler LS6 almost everyday. It always puts a smile on my face. Today a guy asked me what the mileage is and I said 16-18 and he said that's what i get with my 4 cylinder. Got to like that. |
