You will have to modify the Interior Harness..

what would i have to do if i made a complete custom gauge cluster with aftermarket gauges? that is one thing i have been thinking about doing without having to swap out the entire dash.

I swapped my 93 over with a 01+ pcm and harness and retained a 93 style dash. Only thing different is that i used a 96 gauge cluster so that i could get rid of the yellow letter 93 crap. Not to mention everything works like it was intended to by gm. Didnt have to run extra oil press/ temp gauges. Even ac and heater work. Have put 40k reliable trouble free miles on this car since conversion. Sometimes its easy to forget whats under the hood when your cruising around, but quickly reminded when the go pedal is mashed.
