Hey guys I need help I did my lsx swap in my g body and I can't find a lower radiator hose that fits. It the same size as the neck on the water pump which I think is 1 1/2". Can someone tell me what will work?

You need to measure the distance from the back of the lower radiator hose snout to the back of the water pumps snout, pay close attention to the bends if its a 90*, 45* etc. Then go rockauto.com website, enter various gen3/4 equipped vehicles info and look at the pics they provide, they also list the dimensions for the hoses, once you see what works, go to your local store and get it if waiting on delivery isnt an option.

I was thinking about this same issue - but no need for hoses yet when I don't even have an intake manifold!
You can also do two half hoses, clock each end how you need it, then put a small piece of pipe in the middle. You'll just need extra hose clamps.

I went to the parts store in town I live in the country and the the only parts store is a napa and he never has any thing in stock. And the other mechanic shop/auto parts had one but he wanted $30! So I'm going to the city after work to c what I can find.

I was having a problem finding a lower hose for my Malibu also, until I figured I might as well try and see if a stock hose for a 79 Malibu would fit, and low and behold it did! I have a electric water pump, but I don't think that matters. It was a little tight but works great.

Yep it outlasted the 5.3l that I swapped in.....but that may have had something to do with ingesting a puddle.
Mine sits up against the frame so I wrapped it with a piece of split loom then a piece of 1/4" vinyl roof padding foam (had it laying around) then electrical taped over the top of it. I had intended to find a better solution that didn`t hit the frame, but never got around to it. It was a used hose that I got with my first motor and had 113k on it before I even put it on LOL.
