Help with doug's Headers
 

I have a set of long tube headers I put in for my ls1 4l60e conversion on a 69 Camaro. The right header is giving me fits I already had to dent the tube of the header to clear the steering box and the Header still rubs the pitman arm. thinking of grinding the pitman. Has anyone experienced this issue?

I have Doug's headers on my 65 A-body swap and there is no way they would have fit where the Doug's motor mount adapters would have put them.

From what I can tell, most of the adapters are copies of copies. So, if anyone did check these conversions for fit, I don't know what they were smoking.
