83 mustang swap questions
 

Hi all, I am in the process of obtaining parts for a budget 83 mustang swap. First question I have is which k-member do you guys recommend (AJE or Team-Z)? And in regards to the first question, can I use stock a-arms with the tubular k-members?

Next question, can I use the stock truck manifolds on whichever engine I get (4.8, 5.3, etc.)?

And final question, any good place to find cheap complete engines (all accessories, harness, ecu, etc.)

AJE k-members work good and you can run stock a arms. PSI seems to be a good place to get wiring harness. I really dont know about the manifolds everybody I know either runs Kooks or dynatech headers.

You can run stock a-arms with the AJE k-member. For manifolds the only ones I've seen fit are the 2010-current camaro pieces. They can usually be picked up for about $40 per set, great for a budget swap.

Check car-part.com for engines. I have had good luck with finding local salvage yards through the site.
