If you have DBW, then you're almost there anyway, just hook up a few wires to a switch.

DBW ie easy to hook up cruise if you have the correct VSS setup. I'm assuming your th350 does not have a VSS and reluctor. The dakota digital pass thru does not provide enough pulses per mile to get the factory CC to work. I'm currently adding a VSS to a T10 sensing off the 39 tooth reverese gear for CC to work with DBW. Check with Brandon over at LT1swap.com, he did something similar with a th350.
Otherwise, the factory system with cable TB will work, if you got it off the donor car.

At some point ( I believe 2007) factory moved some electronics around and requires BCM for cruise. That means that aftermarket cruise is required as no one integrates BCM in harness. How do I know... I got a l92 from 2007 escalade and all my research indicate that I can not make factory cruise work. I got my harness from speartech and John said that there is no way (at this time) to get factory cruise to work.
Food for thought when you select your motor.
