What should I take from donor car fbody swap Ok I am going to look at a perfectly driveably 2002 camaro ss tomorrow that the guy is parting out to swap into my 78 firebird. he seems cool with giving me the extras to make swap easier so i want to make sure i know what might help make project easier. So far im getting the engine top to bottom with all accessories, ecm, harness etc. the trans and the radiator with cooling fans. Can i make his fuel tank work? Would his trans crossmember be usable? SHifter? any other suggestions? Also can i make cruise control work on one of these swaps? whats a good deal for all this (engine also has vig converter and kook headers) 80K and runs great.
