I did not see mention of the clip eliminators in that thread, how do they play into all of that?

c clip elimnators are not in that thread. That was just to show you how to get proper spacing without buying a kit. C clips arent going to make a difference. Just install them properly. Ill have more info for ya later today or tomorrow. My buddy is putting my gears and diff in today. So ill get the rear back today to finish the brakes.

I have been in between getting 9" ends welded on and just doing c-clip eliminators.

It was a easy choice for me. My father bought a 89 notch roller that had a BBC and a bunch of nitrous. Car went into the 7's. It has strange c clip eliminators and a spool. No need for 9" ends unless it makes you sleep better at night. We put a all motor small block in it 750hp.. Still has same setup in the rear.

Only thing I was worried about with the c-clip elim was disc brakes. Seems there is not a company out there that will say that their c-clip elim work with disc brakes for some reason. I have seen where people did all kinds of mods to make it work, kind of like above, but it just seems like a lot. I would think someone would come out with a kit seeing as how it is pretty much required for NHRA racing.

This may help you out,

http://forums.corral.net/forums/gene...sc-brakes.html

but the eliminator shouldnt make a difference with the disk brakes just make sure your axle is meant for it. Like my mosers are for disk brakes. I was hoping to have my rear back today but my buddy got busy so maybe tomorrow and then ill have some real info for ya with pictures. But my dads car also has disk brakes but they are drag brakes i think aerospace.

Got the rear, coil overs and team z street beast in today.

Street beast kit with anti roll bar, did not put the arb in yet since car is not done. Do that last when she is at full weight.

Not much to update, I got my tires since my pony R wheels should be here very soon. Put my 93 cobra master cylinde ron with the line adapter from maximum motorsports. I got a welder, Installed rear brake lines from maximum motorsports. Had to bend them a bit to clear the anti roll bar. Also put the anti roll bar in, obviously not done since i need the car at full weight to weld the rear tabs on. And I put my intercooler on. Trans and motor should be here within 2 weeks. just waiting.

Been a long time since i did any update, but here is the current state of the car. Got the motor in, 4l80e mocked up on my mock up block and going to get some fluid and put it in tomorrow hopefully.

4l80e

Mock up motor

fitting the trans

Trans crossmember

Forgot to take a picture with the trans fully mocked up in the car but ill get one soon hopefully tomorrow when its back in the car.

Finally motor in the car

Then the motor had to come back out, since i didnt even think when getting my return line welded in my pan on the location of the k member motor mount. So i ended up moving the bar over 2 inches so i have clearance for the oil return. Looks like it was built like that.

And had to customize the brackets for my fuel rails since my ev6 injectors are shorter

Put some parts on the motor.

Yea will do, I was worried about fitting it but it was actually really easy. Only needed to beat one spot where the big plug is in the back. I'll take some for you tomorrow showing everything.

Awesome build. Did you have the rear end at ride height when you put the control arms on?

Since you have a clone I thought you might like this. Original Cobra R #66 with 2400 miles. I did a full paint correction and put in on a lift for storage.

my AJE K doesnt have those little tubes coming out for the rack, but since you had to cut them off did you just enlarge the holes and shove rack bushings inside them with bolt?
