Swap.... First start issues. Won't rev.
 

I have 5.3 truck that is throwing a P1336 crank sensor not learned. And I can't not get it to rev past 1500 rpm. Trying to do the relearn with a Snap On tool/scanner and it needs to rev to 4000-5000 for the procedure to work.

No intake leaks
New sensors
50 psi at idle (60 at slight rev)
Cuts out hard when tring to rev really falls on its face

Any suggestions?

Have friend with Gm tech2 coming on Wednesday but I'm afraid I have some thing wrong other than the P1336 relearn code.

Do you lose fuel pressure when it cuts out?

Is your computer getting a signal from the neutral safety switch? I've heard if you didn't run a neutral safety switch you couldn't perform a relearn

Pressure at 60 psi at very slight rev before it cuts out.

I'll look at the neutral switch.

Got it figured out. Was a grounding issue. I would have never though this was grounding.
