oil pan change

I'm putting an lq9 in my 69 camaro and bought the new Hooker ls oil pan to fit in a 1st gen. I have the engine on a stand down to a long block. I drained the oil and took off the oil filter…can i flip it with no worry of anti freeze going any were it's no suppose to. Or do i need to drain anti freeze from block first?? I know it's an easy question to you guys that do this stuff a lot, it's my first time so i don't want to screw anything up! Thanks!!

If the heads are on as you said its a long block then you are good to go, if the water pump is still on it then roll it so that any remaining coolant will will come out of the water pump, saves it dripping or making a mess.

Should be too much coolant left in the block.. might put a large pan under as you rotate it over.
If you remove the pump, much of what is left in the block should flow out.
