Default ls6 intake on tbss ls2 intake clearance

hey guys so i ordered a ls6 intake from a corvette (complete with fuel rails injectors and etc) but i am having an issue with the fuel feed line hitting the coil...anyone here ever encoutner this problem? sorry guys ima newbie to the ls game lol. also im curious, when replacing the intake, do i have to add a actual intake manifold gasket or did those ls6 intakes just do with the sqaure rubber o-rings on the manifold? also i see that my heads are a cathedral port and the intake is square...will that be a problem?

Pictures would help of where it is hitting the coil, and of the ports on the manifold.

It's the same problem as using truck coils on an LS1. You have to bend the feed line to one side a small amount. It won't hurt anything and has been done by a lot of people. Post a picture of the ports on the intake. They shouldn't be square.

I just had the same issue. Cut or grind the little support off the fuel rail supply. Than gently (not hard at all) pull the supply line towards the front of the engine. It bends super easy.

Attached is a picture of mine.

Also I read if the bottom of the intake is completely flat it's an ls6. I believe what I have pictured is the ls6 bottom, based on what I read.

Just bend it. It seals with just the O rings. LS6 intake is for cathedral port. You'll need a 3 to 4 bolt TB adapter if you want to use the TBSS TB.
