What's this worth?

2000 Escalade 5.7 L31 and 4l60e trans with 230k miles. Still runs good and can hear running as it's still in the vehicle. PCM and harness available also. A good swap combo for someone looking for LS power?

To me that would be worth around $700 at most

A SBC Vortec motor?Not an LS engine,not really worth much,you might get a hundred bucks selling the heads to a local street stock oval track racer...

You're way off sir, 96-00 Vortec engines cost MORE than most common 5.3
ie ... Not an aluminum 5.3 or a fourth gen

You may be right,prices vary widely coast to coast.Around here you almost have to pay someone to take away antique vortec headed dinosaurs,just not much interest in them out here,too bad shipping to Chicago would be ridiculous...

tfi I agree with the price variation, i wouldn't want the Vortec engine, I'm not happy about installing a completely rebuilt 355 in my Wife's car instead of a generation three engine, only doin it because it's a fresh rebuild. OP as tfi mentioned that is NOT an Ls variant.
