Thanks. I appreciate it. Hopefully this fall we can rock and roll on it again. Not really a ton left to finish. I am waiting to order the new QP 9" and for Dakota Digital to release the HDX gauges for my car.

I'd say the max in the rear would be a 295.. Falken makes a 295/40-18...great tires and is 27" tall, so it fills the wheel wells. On the front you can run a 255/40-18, which is slightly shorter and gives a nice rake...

Andrew
I have been searching the fronts and a lot of guys are running 275/35/18 .

Do you see a problem with the 275 up front Andrew ?

I have 275/35-18s on the front now. It's doable, but even with the right backspacing the tire will likely rub the sway bar at full lock (mine do).

I think for Korndawg, some slightly taller tires might be better, since he mentioned that he didn't want the "slammed G-ride look."

Unfortunately no. My dad is unable to work now due to his health as he was my mechanic. Eventually I'm afraid I'll have to start parting out the car

Sorry to read about the health of your parents, hopefully things will turn around for both of them. Remember hot rodding is a community, there is always someone will to help even if its just answering questions. Research, read, ask questions, then execute. Don't give up just yet.....

Well that sucks. I hope things work out for your family.
If you should decide to part it out I would be interested in the car as a roller for sure. Maybe everything if the time/money is right.

I am located in Northern Iowa in Forest City. Lots of work to do yet, I think. Everything just seems daunting now so maybe its not as bad as I think. Thanks for the well wishes for the parents to all! It's very much appreciated!

That's a little too far for me...But, why don't you put together a list of things that need to be done, and we can collectively help you, one thing at a time!
I dream about a LSA in my GTO, and here you are, so close!!!

Lol thanks. A lot of it is the wiring and the running of all the coolant lines, gauge cluster wire, power steering lines and stuff like that. Also I have the shell of a 4WD 4L80e that is waiting for the Stage 3 Jakes Kit that i bought for it to be installed. So i'll have to start saving up some dough so I can have someone rebuild that for me. The new QP 9" i could do myself tho

I love doing wiring and plumbing .I wish I could help. You've been at this for a while and should experience a fun car. I'm sorry about the life troubles, but life goes on. Stay strong and don't give up!
