We have engineered the kit to work with the stock lower and the ATI 5% and 10% over drive lower pulleys, we have not tested it with a smaller upper.
We prefer the larger lower overdrive pulley because the smaller upper pulleys are prone to slippage because of the smaller belt contact area and I do not know if there is a belt to fit that particular combination

Thanks! It's been a fun and expensive one so far. AC is still up in the air. I'm not modifying the frame in any way, shape or form. So I may just go without. I'm trying to determine my fuel system now. Contemplating a Tanks inc system w a Walbro 450 or spend double and go for a dual pump system w a Ricks restomd tank (stainless is far beyond my budget). That's my next big decision.

Korndawg I'm doing the same swap LSA/4l85 in my 69 Camaro. in the 69 Camaro the connection on the drivers side for the controller is hitting my floor and needs a notch to clear. there is also another connector right above that one that is kind of close for comfort. Keep the updates coming I'm loving this thread!

Front end is torn down. Going to replace all steering linkages and bushings w/ Moog. Gonna do the JGC steering box swap to stiffen up the steering. Gotta clean up the frame and firewall for paint.

Finally got some more work done of the car. Bad news tho. With the 4L80e, nothing is fitting like I need to. So I need to bite the bullet and go with the Holley mounts, headers and 302-2 oil pan. Meaning I gotta sell my SW headers and Dirty Dingo sliders. Def a huge hit to the wallet.
Starting to strip the firewall.
Grungy
After a Super Clean bath and some scrubbing. Getting close to paint!

Looks good. You've got a head start on me. Doing an lsa/t56 in my Camaro. Decide on fuel yet? I'm leaning towards a rocks restomod tank and a vaporwox setup but my wallet already hates me thinking about it.

I'm WANTING to do the restomod tank w/ dual 450's but after the huge setback I may go with the Tanks Inc setup w/ single Walbro 450.

Nice job on the clean up, the frame looks good. Sorry to hear about the extra expense you have to go through. I'm do ing the LSA/4l85 in my 69 Camaro and the connection to the trans id going to be a problem for me, its to close to just dimple the floor its going to need a notch. Is that where your having you problem too?

Awesome thread, I went through the same problems with mounts and headers as you on my project. Sucks I feel your pain.
I bought a tanks inc tank for another project of mine and they are very high quality for such a great price. Brand new powdercoated baffled tank for $300 how can you beat that

My only worry was going a single pump vs dual. For safety persuasions and to be sure a single 450 pump is sufficient. I need to win the lottery soon.

I'm not sure if it will work, but take a look at a truck, LQ4, style AC mount. It might be able to be modified to work. I am using all truck accessories on my Magnacharger. A big plus for you is the low mount TB. This will make the air inlet much easier to work out.
