I am SCCA road racing my 1998 Corvette with NARRA with an LS7 engine and a Harrop Hurricane intake. Still have minor heat related issues with the throttle motor located just above the 230 degree water pump, but I am insulating the throttle motor and putting outside air directly on it. Tuning is an effort, but I have switched to an M1 MoTec ECM, which makes the tuning a pleasure. The engine has tremendous throttle response, which gets me out of the corners really fast. Never had throttle plate heat expansion issues and the intake I bought from Harrop 5 years ago, so it is the first generation.
