New Hooker Fox Body Mustang LS Swap System Preview Thread

The answer to that question depends on the transmission being used. In the case of the TKO it lines up about as perfect as you can get...I'll take some measurements on the T56 shifter locations tomorrow to get you comparative references.

A T56 Magnum shifter, when set-up at the rear postion, extends through the floor approximately 7/8" further back than the TKO shifter does, so you would need an offset shifter of some sort to center the shifter in the stock console. The stock 4th-gen F-body T56 shifter would be located approximately 2" behind the rear edge of the factory shifter opening by my estimation.

For any of you guys coming out to LS Fest this weekend, you'll be able to see the Hooker Fox body swap parts and the new Holley 302-3 pan up close and in person on the prototype vehicle, which you can see in this photo is in the process of it final assembly by the owner.

Are those the Vortech LS Swap brackets?

All the components in the Hooker Fox Body LS swap system are on schedule to be released by the end of the year. Some of the components will be released before then, but I can't say which ones as It's out of my view now.

Bumping a post from a few months back...
Is it just me or does it appear that the passenger side collector needs to be angled in a bit to clear the double-hump cross-member (much like the driver side collector is angled)?
Will be acquiring a Fox in the near future and I'm planning on using an MM front end, so those pictures are very nice to see!

The exhaust system prototype work was finished this afternoon with the completion of the muffler/turn-down system. The final step in the development system will be to validate various aftermarket K-members to determine their compatibility with the Hooker components. The first two up will be those from Maximum Motorsports and UPR since I currently have them in my possession.
Here's a few images of the muffler/turn-down exhaust system; it will be available in 3" diameter
only.

So I'm considering a former NASA AIX fox body roller to build back up to track day use with a LS3. This car has a MM 351 windsor based k member. This k member has wider engine mount platform that a 302 due to the wider block. Before I jump for a new k member I may try to fit the LS to this one. Likely with fabricated engine mounts. Does anyone know if I can make this work and what would be the 302 crank center line measurement to target for. Looks like Todd is no longer updating this thread so any questions may just go into the wind.
Thanks

According to the MM web site, the K member for 351W and 302W are the same one. If you go back through this thread, you'll see where they have an LS mocked up on the MM K that you have with their 302-3 oil pan, and motor mounts that have not been released yet.
I asked Todd in another thread about the 302-3 pan if he knew the release date for the mounts, and he replied that he was out of the office this week, but would update this thread after the first.
