Tach signal assistance
 
Finally finished rebuild of my lm7 and 4l60e out of a 2003 chevy express 1500 and have it installed in my 72 c10 Can't find a tach signal the van pin out us different than truck and I even put a pin in the green connector #10 but no signal any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Can't remember what pin it is, but I, like many have had to boost the signal for an aftermarket gauge

It is pin 10 on the green connector. Like slocaddy said, you most likely need a pull up resistor. here's a link to it. http://lt1swap.com/lsx_tach.htmIf you're using a factory tach, or a reproduction of one, the easiest way to hook up the resistor is to just put it between the two terminals on the back of the tach.

I'm using an Intellitronix gauge set it's digital with led's and is a motherboard setup I will try this thanks for the info and link
