A body swap ?'s
A body swap ?'s I'm sure I have it in my notes that I cant seem to find but I wanna get my ducks in a row before spring hits and I can maybe get my car done this year. So just a few questions and or double checking things. Car is a 1968 Lemans ls1/4l80e with a future plan to turbo
1.Cooling.
I can get a fbody ls1 radiator with fans for cheap. Should work good enough for now or possibly permanently? I am running truck accessories if it matters.
2.Fuel system.
I'm planning on a 340 up to a 450 and 80lb injectors. Right now just pump gas and meth since e85 is still rare around me. Does it matter if I just go with the 450 to future proof? I only plan on 8 to 10 psi until I grab a gen 4 5.3
3. Wheels.
I was planning on buying riddler 695s. Not sure how wide I can go in the rear and I cant seem to get a definite answer. I should be able to run 18x9.5 in the rear and 18x 8 fronts correct? Other wise I have to run 17x 8 or 18 x 8 all the way around. I can get links to the wheels. If we need to further discuss this.
