LS2 / 6L80E swapped Defender won't start

Hi everyone

I've been working on a conversion of my 1986 Land Rover 110 (Defender) over here in New Zealand for a few years and have put in an L77 w/ 6L80E. For a while, it was running and driving, then all of a sudden just stopped. When I scan via Bluedriver OBD2 scan tool, I get the P1915 code. Research suggested that it might be the internal switch for the gear position causing issues, so I dropped the pan, installed a new replacement part and I'm still getting the same result. The plastic switch is moving freely as I change gears, and is plugged in etc. To my eye, everything related to this part of the mechanism looks good - the teeth, the shifter cable, the brand new switch. I'm at a bit of a loss as to where to from here - any help would be appreciated!

Some information about the swap:

- Lokar cable driven shifter
- Lokar accelerator pedal
- L77 from a 2014 Holden Commodore SS-V Redline w/ 6L80E from same vehicle
- Harness made locally w/ requirement to depress brake pedal to open TCC relay.

Get a data log while cranking.
rpm, tps, map, iat, clt, injector pulse width, timing

I’m assuming you took that log while cranking. It’s showing 0 fuel pressure. Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key without cranking?

Hmmm got it running today - not sure exactly what was the cause though. Messed around with the gear shifter alignment, the internal harness of the trans, made sure there was fuel pressure at the rail and after a while got it going. It was running extremely poorly and would die after a few seconds. After continuing to crank it repeatedly for around 5 minutes I got it running to a point it wouldn't cut out, and moved it. After a quick drive up the street it was pretty jerky changing gears - almost felt like it was slipping as it changed? There also appeared to be gas(?) coming from the exhaust. Generally pretty rough but it hasn't been running for around 2 years so not entirely unexpected. Tune on the ECM/TCM is mailorder, think I need to take it to someone for a proper tune?

Also of note the P1915 is still present, as is a p0562 now.
