We are putting a 2000 Camaro LS1/4L60E into a 1970 GMC Pickup. We bought some plates that were supposed to be the same as the S&P plates from a guy off one of the truck boards. Unfortunately the holes were off by 1/4". Classy guy, he refunded the $50. You can buy them from S&P for $90 to $100 (can't remember exactly). However, my son said the guy helping us put the engine in, Matt Diamond, came up with a better idea that uses 1/4" plates with a welded bolt. He said there is not enough room to get a bolt under the plate. Anyway, Matt says he's willing to sell some plates. I'll post back on here or send me an email, we should have the engine in a couple of weeks.

I just put a 2000 5.3 vortec in a 69 c10 frame, used the street and performance adapters with stock c10 mounts, worked like a charm.
www.hotrodlane.cc I highly recommend them. If you call try totalk to adam, he definatley knows how to do this, I spent a lot of time talking to him today, really great guy, lots of info, and didn't get annoyed with my probablly stupid questions to him since hes an engine builder for the shop.
