ls1 in 93/97 f-bod?
i have a 2000 ls1 complete with m6 tranny and all the goodies. does it really just bolt on to the 93/97'? also, how different or what else would i need if i were to install it on a originally v6 body?

Since it's a V6 i'd get the Lt1 radiator over the Ls1 as it cools a lot better. Then like John said you'll need the Ls1 K-Members and since the Ls1 is fly by wire you'll need a way to control the throttle. I think there are kits to control throttle with a cable instead of fly by wire, but im not sure, so if possiable you'll want to grab the acclerator pedel and the stuff attached to that. I'd upgrade everything from the fuel pump back for the new engine because I dont think the V6 fuel system can manage a raging Ls1. If memory serves me correctly I think it's a pretty straight forward swap, I would go ahead and change plugs and wires since the engine is out and also get a nice set of headers, so it will all go in at once saving you a ton of time later. Good Luck

Correct. No F-body LS1's are fly by wire.
