Default Oil pan depth, F-body vs Truck pan

Thought this might be something a lot of new comer conversions guys might be interested in.

Does anyone know the total depth of the F-body pan, I'll measure the truck pan as well.

Any pics of either pan would be good as well

Hi John: There were some posts over in the Ls2 section about whether the inproved C6 pan will fit in an F Body car.
Still waiting for someone to try it and measure the pan and post all the dimensions. Looking at the picture of it in a car magazine it might fit the older A body and G bodies without modification? Maybe someone can check it out. Happy Holidays to all. Bye

Thats heaps buddy, thats great.

For the future record in case the link goes down it looks like F-Body is 5 1/2" deep and the truck is 8 1/2" deep.
