Default Do you think your LS1 Conversion is calendar material?

We are looking for a conversion car for the 2006 LS1Tech calendar. If you have a LS1 powered vehicle that you would like considered for one of the 13 spots, please post it. Not only are we looking for gorgeous cars, but we are looking for people who have the ability to take clean, HIGH (5MP+, 35MM) quality pictures (or knows someone who can do it for you). Another factor that we must consider is an open mind. We are looking for a person that is willing to have a female model with his/her car. At this time, we can only provide a female for you in Miami, FL and Houston, TX. If you are located in any other part of the US, you MUST have someone in mind. Obviously this person must have an open mind to the clothing that she will wear for the picture. She also must be approved by the calendar committee prior to the photographs. Some people say that I am kinda picky, so you might want to have more than one in mind

Remember, you don't want to give away your background or model in the picture you post! All we want to see at this time is the car. If we like the car, you will be put on the first set. The first set does not mean that you automatically have a spot. This means that we will be emailing you to see pictures of the girl and location that you have in mind. From there we will begin eliminating cars to find our final 13.

Good luck... now lets see those pics!

What is the deadline for this? My car won't be ready until sometime in April.

Having said that, I definitely believe it WILL be "calendar material"!!

If you have a "really used-up exterior" category, I'm your guy!

We really don't have a deadline. If we find the car we are looking for tomorrow... Great! If it takes us until April, then I guess we will have to wait. We will most likely start the pictures around May.

We'll have a nice 1970 GMC shortbed done in a couple of weeks and I know an excellent photographer. It's finding the beautiful model that could be difficult!

Damn, I'll have to shoot for 2007. Does it HAVE to be an LS1? What about the variants? LQ4, LQ9, etc.?
