I'm new and have a Q.

Hey guys, I drive a 1996 WS6 M6 T/A. I was wondering if I could swap a LS1/6 into my car without major modifications.

no its a pretty expensive swap and dont do it to a 96 WS6 anyway they are fairly rare just over 2000 of them were TAs.

Agreed. If you are looking for performance just modify your LT1. If you have to have an LS1, buy an 98+ TA.

I'm jealous of the LS1 though (the aluminum block, beehive springs, even exhaust ports, intake) :( , I wish I could compete, but I've gotten beasted by a 98 formula. Any tips?

Yeah, heres a tip, mod your car. :) Your car stock? You can make an LT1 run hard as hell
