What's missing from my harness? http://www.derekf.com/images/08210524.jpg My harness was apparently removed from the donor car with an axe. I've identified most of the connectors that'll need to be repaired/replaced, but I'm not sure what went here (circled). There's about 15 wires in there, so it's likely somewhat important. Anybody know what went there off the top of their head? |
That looks like the segment that goes to the under-dash connectors. It routes down the pax side fenderwell and meets up in the passenger footwell under the dashboard. This would explain why they chopped it I suppose. Look up connectors C220 and C230 and see if the colors match up w/ the ends you see cut. |
Thanks, Crainholio. Confirmed that it was C220 and C230 that were cut. Short of getting someone to chop up their engine harness, where would one get replacement connectors? (preferably with pigtails since I don't know how much of the length was cut) The Helms manual gave an eight digit number for each of them, but GMPartsDirect doesn't recognize as a valid part number. |
Connectors Ouch, at least that was the only damage. This web site might have what you need, http://currentperformance.com and go to the OEM connectors link. Hope this helps, ATAK |
