Has anyone installed 4th gen seats into a 1st gen?
Hey guys Im just curious about the fit. I know the front seats shouldnt be a problem, but what about the back? Also, has anyone done 4th gen door panels?

I bought a set of seats out of a Y2000 SS in tan leather for mt '67SS convert project. The fronts look like they will bolt in fine, will require some type of bracket for mounting the back rail locations. I assume you know the rear seat in a 4th gen consists of a seat back and 2 separate buckets (carpeted hump). I'm thinking I will have the material removed from the 4th gen parts and sewn back together to fit my fold down. I'm just going to use my stock style door panels dyed or re-covered to match.
I'm also doing a LS1/T56 in mine but with a Wayne Due front end. Headers are the latest problem to be tackeled. I can send pictures if you are interested including ones with the sears sitting in it.
